This project involved the full reconstruction of existing pavement at Concord Community Club, including asphalt profiling, subgrade excavation, and multi-layer pavement construction. Key tasks included the installation of environmental controls, placement and compaction of DGB20 sub-base and base layers, primer sealing, and final AC10/AC14 asphalt surfacing. The project also involved comprehensive quality testing and detailed site demobilisation, ensuring all civil and pavement works were completed to specification and ready for operational use.
Preliminaries & Documentation — Prepared and submitted all required plans including: WHSE Management Plan, Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS), Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Construction Program and Site Induction and Commencement Documentation
Site Establishment — Installed site fencing and signage, DBYD service search and environmental controls, Mobilisation of plant and equipment
Profiling & Excavation — Saw cutting of existing asphalt, Profiled 40mm asphalt layer (approx. 305T) for disposal, Excavation to sub- grade and stockpiling on site
Pavement Construction — Supplied, placed, and compacted 100mm DGB20 sub-base layer and 150mm DGB20 base layer, Proof rolling, compaction testing, and conformance survey
Surfacing & Finishing Works — Primer seal (7mm C170) applied to 3,200m2, Supplied and laid 302T of AC10/AC14 AR450 asphalt (40mm), Line marking and site finishing
Demobilisation & Handover — Complete site clean-up and demobilisation, Submission of QA documentation and ITPs
