Project Overview

Civil Environmental Services delivered the Stage 02 public-domain package around Park Sydney’s Building A, constructing new footpaths, shared-use lanes, drainage and streetscape elements that tie seamlessly into the future master-plan. All works were completed under live-site constraints, in full accordance with City of Sydney Public Domain Specifications, and without impact on nearby residents or landscaped habitat.

Scope of Work

B2 Earthworks — Removed existing pavements, trimmed subgrade and installed erosion controls for new design levels

B3 Drainage — Laid Ø 450-750 mm RCP pipes, pits and KS300 trench drains, tying into the future 3600 × 1800 mm culvert shown on CI-0301

B4 Utilities — Placed six-way HV/LV and comms conduits beneath Stovemaker Lane with marker tape and polymer covers per CI-0731, Installed & commissioned 15 council approved street lights.

B5 Pavements & Kerb — Supplied and placed concrete and brick paving and new kerb-and-gutter to typical section MK2A20 B6 Landscaping Interface — Installed strata-vault tree pits, back-filled with City-blend soil and safeguarded existing figs per CI-0044

B6 Roadway Construction — Supplied and placed new flexible road pavement on Ashmore Street to make good surface post-stormwater installation to match existing profile.

B10 Sediment & Erosion Control —  Maintained rock socks, sediment fences and stabilised stockpiles, completing with turf and mulch reinstatement

Key Achievements

  • Installed ACO KS300 heel- safe trench drains and new Ø 750 mm stormwater trunk mains, future-proofing drainage and meeting City load-class C-D requirements.
  • Sequenced works so building entry, display suite and pedestrian routes stayed open every day, as mandated in the demolition and access plan.
  • Passed every City-of- Sydney hold-point inspection at first review, with all drawings certified “For Construction” and nopost-approval variations.
